This is the modern, scientific and centralized urban infrastructure formed in the underground space - the underground comprehensive pipe gallery of Beidu street, Pingcheng district.

        The comprehensive pipe gallery is a comprehensive underground urban pipeline corridor, which is to build tunnel space in the urban underground, integrate various engineering pipelines such as power, communication, natural gas, heat supply, water supply and drainage, and implement unified planning, design, construction and management. Beidu Street comprehensive pipe gallery project is the first comprehensive pipe gallery demonstration project in our city. It starts from the West Ring Road in the West and ends at Weidu Avenue in the East. It is planned to be a main urban road with east-west trend and a total length of 1785.442 meters. The comprehensive pipe gallery is 10.2m wide, 4.1m high, 8-9m deep and 1749m long. The pipe gallery is divided into three sections: water heating tank, telecommunication tank and sewage tank, which contain power, information, water supply, heat and sewage.

        The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Commission of housing and urban rural development said that in the past urban construction, all kinds of underground pipelines of various departments were often independent. Once there is a fault, the staff of different pipelines often need to repeatedly "open the road", which not only costs a lot of money, but also is easy to affect the traffic and public life. After the completion of the underground comprehensive pipe gallery, the staff only need to pass through the entrance and exit of the pipe gallery to facilitate maintenance at any time, thus greatly reducing the maintenance cost, fundamentally solving the problem of "road zipper". At the same time, the integrated pipe gallery is equipped with monitoring system, fire control system, etc., and the staff can conduct real-time monitoring through computers or mobile phones.

        Although the underground comprehensive pipe gallery is "invisible", its improvement of people's livelihood is really "tangible". It can not only ensure the safety of the city, but also improve the city function and beautify the city. At present, the pavement of lime-2 base course of Beidu Street underground comprehensive pipe gallery project has been completed, and the construction of curb foundation is in progress, which will be fully opened to traffic in July. The main structure of the pipe gallery has been completed, and the internal auxiliary installation works have completed 75% of the total works.
